To be perfectly honest, I find some difficultly in interacting with those who have a lower IQ than myself. It makes my heart weep when I realize how dull some people are. But the most fruitful thing in life is to meet someone truly gifted. For example, just the other day I met with my calculus professor. She knows that I have been reading ahead (the class is a little slow for my taste), and together we walked through the proof of the first and second Fundamental Theorems of Calculus. It really is beautiful to meet someone that is of similar or greater intellectual calibre than oneself.

You have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty.
The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.
There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance.

Let's say I have an IQ of 115-130. But, I apply myself quite hard.
I study hard, go to the gym, actively pursue women consistently. Lot's of self improvement. I have the personality trait of valuing intellectualism.
From what Jordan Peterson says, it doesn't limit you in what you CAN learn, just the ease and speed.
It feels harder for me to do math, but I've listened to math professors and great musicians explain how natural talent is a load of shit.
What do you think? Does having a high IQ really make it easier? Does high IQ gatekeep from learning higher level concepts? Can a persons will power and intuitive thinking overcome these obstacles?
