There are two parts to Trig. The first is knowing what all of the functions mean in a right triangle with any given side equal to 1. You need to know sine, cosine, and tangent off the top of your head. You need to be able to read this attached image.

The second part is trig identities. Google "trig identities" and you'll get lists of them. These are plug-and-play ways of converting trig expressions form to another. You don't need to memorize these unless you're in a trig class where you're tested on them, but you should be aware of which ones exist so that when you have a trig expression in an ugly form, you can figure out which ones to try to get it into a better form. Any ones you end up using a lot, you'll probably learn. If you're in the mood for some geometry exercises, you could try proving that they're correct.
