I would not study it to an advanced level, if you read papers in philosophy it's absolute gibberish. A cursory reading of the basics might benefit you a bit

To be fair, the scientists on the left-hand column seem to be talking about ancient (or at least not so recent) philosophy, while the nu-scientists on the right-hand column seem to be talking mainly about contemporary philosophy, which hasn't yet be pruned by the passage of time and so it's full of buffoon. Of course, the nu-scientists themselves will be pruned by history and quickly forgotten in a few generations.

Philosophy is about knowing how to think about what you think about the world, and works well as a minor to scientific majors.
