Is the cumbrain meme just a meme or is there may be some scientific basis for it?

>> No.10897821

>>10897816
There's a lot of scientific basis for it. Though it's not generally mainstream yet, not quite sure why. Perhaps since it's so wide spread that people from all walks of life are using it, and the powers that be won't admit it, for risk of being discovered. It's kind of a perfect tool to destroy a society from within. Introduce a highly addictive substance that hijacks your most basic instinct of procreation. It's so widespread that everyone is doing it. And it's so ubiquitous that almost none is aware of that they are addicted, nor that they can be addicted In the first place.

So you're saying that, by remaining a virgin and halting to touch my peepee every day, my iq will skyrocket. Probably worth a shot if I'm not already a permacumbrain and effects are reversable.

It's going to be tough, like really though. One of the hardest things I've experienced is "flatlining". It's so scary where you temporary lose all sensation, all desire, your penis feels like dead weight, lifeless. You would do anything to feel again, meaning to back to watching porn.

Intriguing. Porn can be used as psychological warfare. Though I still don't understand why "there is no mainstream front against porn." If porn wasn't used mainstream, it can still be used in warfare. In fact porn can't even be used in other developed countries since most people are already used to it.

I'm interested as well, but since I touch my peepee 2/3 times a day then going cold turkey means I'll literally die. I was thinking about slowly reducing the amount per week until it goes to 0, eventually. Also I never felt any kind of cognitive impairment due to peepee handling so either I've a 400 qi and losing 50 is loose change or effects are really minute.
Interested anyway.

>If porn use is the cause of your symptoms, you may wonder why most men temporarily eliminate masturbation and orgasm during the rebooting period. The short answer is – “That’s how most guys have done it”. There’s an established history of temporary sexual abstinence by men with porn-induced sexual problems and those in recovery from sex addiction. Some suggest 90 days, see – No Sex For 90 Days?? – The Sex Fast, Part 1, by Terry Crews. And many rebooters claim that a temporary timeout helps reset their sexual arousal template. As stated, YBOP has only two “rules’ for a reboot:

>Stop using artificial sexual stimuli, and
Do what works for you.
If you think it may be helpful for you to temporarily eliminate or drastically reduce masturbation/orgasm during a reboot, please educate yourself first with these threads on whether to masturbate or not, and the pros & cons of masturbating, a balanced approach/plan, and this thread by a nofapper who thinks no masturbation is too restrictive. Compare those experiences with this ongoing thread, The “No Arousal” Method.

In short it's not masturbation that's bad, it's porn addiction. For a lot of people it's easier to quit porn, when we stop masturbating as well, since we've learned to associate masturbation with porn.

if you have severe PIED 90 days is no where near another. it takes 6-9 months and even after that you need to be careful and not orgasm too many times to resort to porn fantasy. i recovered after about 5-6 months in 2017, got a gf and started getting weak erections again after fucking a dozen times.

That is also covered in the article

>How Long Should I reboot?
>Many websites that link to YBOP say we suggest 60 days, or 90 days, or 8 weeks, etc. We don’t have a program or a set amount of days, as the time is completely dependent on the severity of your condition, how your brain responds, and your goals. Time frames found in rebooting accounts are all over the place because brains are different, and some men have porn-induced ED or DE. The men who reboot reverse porn-induced ED use their erectile health as a barometer (see: How long will it take to recover from Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunction? ).

>Guys without ED must use other benchmarks (see: How do I know when I’m back to normal?). It’s not uncommon for younger men to experience improvements long after the end of their rebooting phase.

Good of you to have managed to hold out for that logn

Right, it's totally all the porn and not the fact that World leaders are acting like morons and might get us into another war or global recession all while climate shifts are going to make most of the world unlivable in the next few decades.

Just because incels are bitching about not getting laid because they broke their dick, doesn't mean there aren't more pressing issues which contribute to despression and the offsetting of relationships.

here a few quick ones
>its shameful to talk about, sin hides like cancer
>people feel hypocritical to speak out against it because they have used it (which is a stupid reason to not speak out)
>its related to other profit making industries (fashion and luxury goods play on sexual insecurities)
>placates masses-do leaders want people with energy when there are no jobs? no they want them too lazy to rise up

Of course

What is food to a starving man? Now what is
the same food to a full man?

What is a small bit of pleasure to someone who always seeks pleasure? what is a small bit of pleasure to someone who rarely gets it?

It's all relative so if you're constantly fapping you're setting that as your baseline, and it's the same if you're constantly gorging on food or doing drugs

You need to keep a balance in life

The ancient people and the truly religious knew more about the spiritual nature of man, of pleasure and pain, of depression and bliss, than modern science can even begin to think of.

Has science ever "explained" anything about the intensity of attraction of a man towards a woman? Science is only good for meaningless, mechanistic details and psychology is totally worthless. Everyone who's smart instinctually knows this already. What good is talking all the time?

The truth of the matter of sex is contained within the pamphlet on Brahmacharya. Focus your mind and retain your semen, brothers. Conquer the enemy that is lust.
