hey /sci/ducks,
im planning to make some planting shelves for outside. and im wondering what material would be the best to use, im looking for something that is cheap yet durable. this will be exposed to oregon weather which is a lot of rain but also it must be able to withstand the sun.
Im not sure exactly what they will look like yet but i plan on having it be about 2meters tall and 1 meter wide with 3 racks. going to be growing lettuce to start, idk what else, hopefully i will be able to make a sturdy structure out of it.
also i was thinking about having the shelves have built in planter boxes and what material i should use for that that wont lease toxins and what not that the plant might absorb because im planning on eating them if all goes correctly
