How rare is allergy to penicillin and cephalosporins?

I have both. (inb4 I am fucked)

Heard that penicillin allergy is as rare as about 1 per 100,000 individuals but this sound as a gross exaggeration, since I am not the only person I've heard of with similar allergy (and also at least 2 of my 3 siblings have the same allergies, so it seems as a dominant trait since my mother does not have it).

Is penicillin allergy co-related with cephalosporine allergy or I am just epically unlucky?

Any medfags here to enlighten me?

I heard the odds of getting heads is 50% but this sound as a gross exaggeration, since I have flipped a coin and got heads twice in a row

I'm allergic to penicillin and almost died when I was a kid. As far as I know I'm not allergic to cephalosporine so I think it's not related.
