Then Japan becomes even weirder as a result of being nuked twice.

americans will support their government unquestioningly again, like after 9/11. so we'll be invading the rest of the middle east and north korea, maybe a draft. china will throw up it's hands and insist it had no part of it, scale down its military to appears less threatening, maybe end up being invaded anyway.

this is basically what will happen if ANYONE but china/russia/us/europe ends up using nukes, ever again.

um no, nuclear weapons are powerful, but North Korea getting a handful of them will not allow them to destroy 60% of japan, South Korea might be fucked b/c like 80% of their population lives in the capital. But the quality of weapons produced by a burgeoning nuclear power will not be powerful enough to lay waste to entire nations. They don't have the money to buy a huge arsenal either.

not only that but korea has trouble getting its missiles to hit anything other than the sea of japan. they make huge public weapon demonstrations to glorify the state, and most of them are abject failures.

If one actually did get launched, i think the ban on japan's military and status as a protectorate of the US would immediatly be abandoned, they wouldn't trust the US to deal with the problem and probably invade themselves.

What ban? Last I checked Japan had the second largest Navy on Earth. The military ban treaties are to Japan what the Bill of Rights is to the US; A sheet of paper that the government ignores and sometimes wipes their collective asses with.

>> No.1089186

Lol. They bomb ANY country, and their country will be wiped off the face of the Earth before THEIR nukes hit.
