Is there a chance I could become successful if i try hard in uni? How do I raise my IQ anons?

stop falling for the IQ meme and do some hard work studying. most of the successful people in my uni are just students who keep a nice studying schedule
you can do it anon

Don't worry about this. Olympiad mathematics is not representative of problems you'll encounter as an undergrad or mathematician.

I'm sure there are plenty of mathematicians who are poor Olympiad writers.

This. I go to top university where many of my peers can easily blow me out of the water. However, I've been able to keep up with them because I work really hard and have a good study schedule.

Try reading some books on Math, that's the best way to improve and the best way to find out if becoming a mathematician is a reasonable goal.

A math career is to math Olympiads what a leather jacket is to getting laid. Some guys who get laid have cool jackets but it's not apriori much related.

It just means there's holes in your mathematical knowledge base. I used to think the olympiad was for geniuses only.

Protip: it's not. The solutions to all of the olympiad problems I have attempted used mathematical ideas that can be easily learned in school (e.g. obscure algebraic identities).

You just have to study more, and also be creative. Creativity in mathematics is criminally underrated imo. Good luck anon, and don't listen to any of the >cope idiots on this board.

Hopefully in your adventure you will find mathematics to be so enjoyable that the IQ meme doesn't bother you anymore.

How much would you pay for a website that teaches how to answer Olympiad style questions?

Never payed for a website but I've borrowed a book from my math teacher. Should I start training for olympiad style problems even though I'm not going to be able to participate in math competitions any more?

Are you talking about math or Olympiads? Because only CS fags and engies are delusion enough to think math is static and non-abstract.

true, but somebody with higher IQ will be able to learn faster and connect the subject with others, ask more questions and strengthen his connections between his neurons.i am not saying people with average IQ can not master certain subjects,no, they will just have to work much harder.good luck anon, dont give up, sleep enough and keep a well structured study schedule, you are able to do it.
