Is it normal for occlusion to change after eating (especially tougher foods which require a lot of chewing, or chewing gum)? I notice that after chewing a lot my occlusion is changed temporarily. It usually takes quite a while to go back to normal and I usually don't notice when it does.

yeah i think this isn't out of the ordinary. i'm not sure it's anything about your jaw or teeth though, probably just your muscles train themselves to rest in a certain way, but not sure. though i have had this feeling before, you know like if you are say biting on your nails for a long time, or holding something in your mouth like a flashlight, your jaw feels weird afterward for a little while
