I mean, it's gifted range, but I would say that you would need to be profoundly gifted to be called "very high," and even then very few of them could be called "geniuses."
Have you ever met people with IQs 170+?
The IQ distribution has fat tails as well, meaning there are a lot more gifted people than would be typically expected (iirc. profoundly gifted people are around 1/400,000). How many of them are put in the history books, like Gauss, or Newton?
That isn't to say you don't have great potential, or that you should feel bad about yourself, but also don't raise yourself up like some sort of revolutionary enlightened thinker who will greatly change the course history.

Concientiousness is as immutable as intelligence. If you don't already have a strong internal drive for success you probably won't accomplish anything of note. However, a 144 means there are no jobs that are off limits to you, just find something you like to do and do it.

You're already lost. Donate your brain to neuroscience so we can get robust and hard working average IQ people to suddenly have incredible IQs, instantly creating a genius (hard working talent).

Psychologists don't even use those sorts of tests anymore. Saying you have a very high IQ of 144 means about the same as saying you have a very high urethral delta-p

Happens to all of us. 130 reporting in. This prussian style of schooling and the "no child left behind" mentality doesnt pressure kids to excel or engage them adequately. It is meant to give everyone a bare minimum "core" set of knowledge and nothing else.
>What do guys?
The important thing to remember is that having a high IQ doesn't make you smarter than other people; it means you can generally learn faster than the average person. You have a slight advantage in terms of learning, but success is determined by work put in, not by skill. Also, dont feel like just because you have a high IQ, that you need a prestigious job. You can contribute to humanity in ways other than through paid work. Many of the greatest thinkers throughout history worked on what we remember them for as a hobby and had some other job to sustain themselves in the meantime.

Anons here touting hard work twinned with above average IQ gets results, not necessarily. I didn’t start my degree until I was in my 30’s didn’t revise or pay particular attention to course material for first two stages and got solid distinctions, came away with a first, no hard work on my part desu, shit just clicked.

So if your ability to learn quicker is coupled with a natural talent towards your field then hard work isn’t a deciding factor on the outcome.
