What does /sci/ think of iq differences between men and women?
Is there a genetic component or is it all environment? Is sex even genetically real?

Thousands of years of geographical isolation. You can't deny evolution.

This thread's already doing better than the non-iq ones I posted, so the people are getting what they want I guess.
Sex-iq is more interesting than race-iq anyway since there really might be genes involved.

Just go back. Every post in this thread is either ridiculing you or is being sarcastic (or is (You)). Feel free to stop posting any time.

Do not bump.

If it was environmental why would it be stretched from about the same center? Pretty bullshit that they're giving a ride for women into jobs that require that upper tail end of intelligence, though.

>> No.10790826

>>10790777
Women have slightly lower average IQ (1-2 points or so), but significantly lower mathematical and spatial intelligence, while also having lower spread of intelligence (less retards and geniuses).

All these differences get magnified at the tail of the distributions.

So even when all the environmental factors are equal, you would statistically expect advanced STEM subjects to be naturally dominated by men.

Women are less likely to suffer from childhood head trauma but also less likely to be pushed to higher education.

They also make up disproportionally less of the autism spectrum as well as only 25% of the homeless population.

It can be empirically observed, and there is logic behind it. I'd say the onus is on the other side to prove that men and women are somehow mentally 1:1.

Only 40% of all men ever have reproduced while the same figure is 90% for women. There is no value in being exceptional for women.
