I'm unsure if it's an illusion or if nicotine being a relaxant and stimulant actually helps the brain understand concepts.

It could easily be the illusion of the nicotine buzz making you feel empowered but GOLLEY back when I use to do the vapor I felt I was more productive. ( also I haven't used any form of nicotine in over a year so the withdrawl is definitely over.)

Nicotine is a nootropic, like caffeine, like all new drugs in the emerging market of brain supplements; so yes, it makes perfect sense.

it helps your alertness and focus and that's literally it. you can achieve the same effect with nofap and discipline, but most people won't give up procrastination or self-pleasure because they're pavlovian chimps.

I'm a pretty against using nicotine since I've witnessed so many people become heavily addicted to it. But could someone explain why and how nicotine can help with studies and such? I would love to see if it would help me study better but idk if it's worth.

>> No.10756679

>>10756663
do NOT use it to study. you'll form an unhealthy addictive loop and need to be constantly smoking to achieve efficacy. if anything, only use it for reflecting on the material or taking a brief break between study periods.

This. Nicotine buzz lasts like 5 min lol. Why do you think smokers huff on them nonstop. Nicrotines effectiveness to addictivness rate IS TRASH

High levels of nicotine help accommodate material, but low levels during sleep improve retention.

I don't have a paper, but I've read nicotine tends to enhance performance measures, but at a reduction in accuracy/uncertainty.

If you have ADHD nicotine would be more useful. They've used nicotine patches in kids and old people to improve attention.

Nicotine itself isn't largely addictive in animals and when they used normally in kids etc, it's in combination with MAOIs it gains potency (cigarettes have harmine, harmaline, and probably some other ones).

You don't smoke enough, moron.
I loathe sports, including e-sports, and you know what? Baseball is the same gibbering-retarded shit as football, which is fucking stupid as hell to begin with.

"DUH, KICKBALL AND HANDEGG ARE SPORTS, BUT STICKBALL IS NOT." Your argument is dumb, and you should feel dumb.
