If the universe is a computer simulation, can we hack it?

Every logical system that's built has some blind spot that can be used as a limiting case to that system's ability. Surely someone must've thought of a logically sound paradox that's unsolvable within the criteria of our universe. Why aren't these ideas being pursued?

Yeah, these paradoxes are how you get funded as a physicist while all you do is jerk off all day.

If you're seriously pondering whether the universe is some kind of computer simulation ran by aliens/gods/whatever then you need to fuck off back to >>>/x/

Yes. If there are rules that govern the system, then the system can be hacked using the same rule. Ofcourse we won't see the effects, but the effects would be seeable from the dimension above.

Beware the anti-hacking firmware built into the universe.
Complete annihilation of everything withing a Billion light years.

lol! Looks like someone hasn't heard of unhackable systems.

Probably not from the inside, no.

There can be errors in the system what we can utilize. Probably not for hacking the whole system, but for doing cool stuff. Like faster communication then the speed of light. Jumping in space time. etc

yeah dude just hack reality why didnt anyone else think of that

You best start believin' in unsolvable logically sound paradoxes, OP, you're in one.

Supposedly the rules of physics change when we deal with extremely high temperatures and circumstances, so the answer probably lies with playing with highly unstable and dangerously high circumstances. Unfortunately though, that comes with it's own sets of risks.
