We all know that IQ is only useful for measuring pattern recognition and perhaps concentration.
Has anyone done a similar map, but with other things that could be classed as "intelligence" like memory of visual processing skills, or quickness in recognising patterns etc.?
For people from malnourished and wartorn areas, has there been an attempt to split IQ into well nourished and not PTSD'd people, and malnourished and PSTD's people?
What I'm getting at is, have there been attempts to go beyond IQ reductionism or IQ denialism when looking at intelligence?

It is well known that environmental factors affect IQ. How exactly they affect IQ is difficult to study. Only a select few factors have been singled out reliably, like iodine deficiency having a direct affect on IQ score.

IQ score highly correlates with the general intelligence. if you have low IQ score, you're dumb. get over it.

yeah I never finish reading IQ threads. you don't need a study to know effects of malnutrition and PTSD to intelligence. china and north korea are poor but they still have higher IQ on average than europe. qatar has much lower IQ although they're much richer.

average IQ of nation also correlates with it's development, but there're obvious exceptions like north korea / south korea, east germany / west germany etc.

So you want to change an IQ test from recognizing patterns to quickness of recognizing patterns?

The countries highest in IQ are the countries with famously demanding school systems where you pretty much have to learn until you fall asleep.

The countries lowest in IQ are the ones where you are lucky if you can find something resembling a school in your vicinity.

Coincidence?
Coincidence?

No, because the visual skills of europeans would turn out to be atrocious.

I think if more effort was put into producing, analyzing and faithfully promoting PTHC, the better off we would all be.

Do you mean some other acronym? Cause I guilelessly googled that and a warning from google showed up above the links to percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography.

And the curriculum have issues such as being language issues that often leads to them being shit at speaking their mother tongue AND say...English. Alongside the meme of NGO's business and other entities trying to push private education and actively trying to gimp public, funding issues and the WB pushing austerity and you have a multi-dimensional issue.
