I've never been really good at math or studying for anything and i always rely on memorization, and lately it hasn't been working out very well, i come from a very strict A-B grade family and im scared what would happen if i told them that i failed geometry

Is it okay to fail one class?
will it look bad for the rest of my life?
would i have to restart the entire class if i passed one semester and not the other one?

Also what are some good studying techniques
