I've been obsessed with my skin for a while now (emphasis on obsessed), and I'm at the point where I'm asking myself how much damage UVA and UVB rays are actually doing to my skin. Are skincare companies fooling me and everyone else? I'm sure they are, but how much? Could someone help me out? I'm not sure exactly what I'm trying to ask here.

I know what I'm trying to ask; how much damage do UVA and UVB rays do to us on the daily? Is it worth it to spend the money on sunscreen for daily use?

Hello there talk to a dermatologist. The doctor will first assess your skin and based on the information required, the state of your skin the Dr will recommend a routine for you. This way it will be accurate and put your mind at ease.

But don't worry too much your skin is tough. Good luck.

Friendly reminder to you and all the media fags and dermatologists who bitch about skin cancer and muh sunscreen:

The health benefits of frequent sun exposure far outweigh the risks and cost of potential skin cancer.

True, but there is also the issue with skin aging and aesthetics.
