So, if life is a simulation.. Who’s the programmer?

Descartes Demon. He's deep into C++ and matrix like software where simulants get to live out their existence as solipsistic incels that reveal the horror of their situation one blue-board post at the time.

take that atheist that believe the universe is a program.
and if you are stupid enough to say it is self instantiated that is just called the normal universe.

I've thought deeply about this and I think quantum mechanics has a hint. I think we may be the undergrad thesis of a mathematician who is trying to create a non-deterministic universe where all of the events at the particle level are given by his library's random number generator.

So far I'm not too impressed, I hope his advisor is not too hard on him.

I ate a marmot heart once. Me and some buds were innawoods, and one of those fuckers managed to catch one with his barehands. We dressed and skinned it, noting it was a young female, maybe five years old. We all took chunks of it for our supper, and I chose the left lower leg along with the heart.
The taste was actually pretty toothsome, if a little gamey. I could easily see bags of marmot hearts being sold in large snack packs, much like beef jerky.
The leg was left more to be desired though, it lacked much of the iron rich flavors the cardiac organ possessed. Imagine overly dry chicken that's been sitting out under a heat lamp.

I just wish I got the skull for my collection instead of the pelvis.

I wouldn't do that unless I was very hungry. Marmots are rare. And they're the longest lived rodents at >20 years in the wild.

But retarded hicks that are drunk most of the time don't think about those sorts of things. They think mostly about killing animals just to see how they die. There's been a proliferation of psychopaths like you in the last couple of generations, just like there's been a proliferation of autism, and genetic diseases. I liken it to dysgenic trends due to easily attainable resources.

Not in my part of the woods friend. Besides, cows live even longer and we still eat those. Do you think the same of people who hunt and eat deer?
