As we all know, anyone famous for any reason or known to be intelligent in any capacity is in fact a mental midget who does not have the IQ sack to measure up to the average /sci/tard undergrad misunderstood genius.

In this context, who are the actual high IQ success stories? Who are our colleagues of high esteem that we hope to some day count ourselves among? Are they all trapped in their parents' basements, a victim of the global conspiracy to keep us gigabrains down?

It's kind of the anti-IQ thread. While still being a shitpost, of course.

There are always attacks on famous people because they aren't "real scientists" and/or are low IQ, but few examples of allegedly high IQ legit scientists.

And if any of those people are famous enough that you've heard of them, someone always chimes and says they're a meme. Or they possess some other weird quality that makes them interesting on image-based forum, completely unrelated to their actual intellectual capacity or contribution to science.

I can't tell when people are "redpilling" someone for fun and when they are flat-earthers raging against anyone who's ever achieved anything.
