The existing-not existing duality is only within our minds.
You should ask, why you perceive existing and what it means. You may never learn what lies behind this perception, cos it is unthinkable to you. Your very ability to question the ideas behind the world is a massive drawback. It is counterproductive to ask the questions you can never answer.

Just think, why you consider some thing existing. What is a necessary condition for existing? Where do you draw the line? Understand that and you will be at peace with yourself. Keep asking, what stands behind this duality and your ability to perceive it -- and perish in the abyss of fruitless search

it is completely true. you will never receive a satisfying answer, regardless of the answer. even if you understand how this universe was created you will never be able to understand where those laws originated from. it will be questions for eternity and even the universe, multiverse, or whatever verse, has no idea where it came from. and whatever created it has no idea where it came from nor will it ever. you will forever be disappointed because you will never figure out any answers no matter how many billions or trillions of years you spend searching with the brightest minds among quadrillions or septillions of citizens. even if you had every mind in existence thinking about it for the rest of eternity you will never find an answer. and i hope that crushes your soul and forces you to believe that everything is fake to the point where you doubt if even you exist.

Literally impossible. What you're proposing is like eliminating all the axioms from mathematics. At some point, we'll be saying "this and that came into being because that's just the nature of it", having no further answer about the "why".

This is a great question that I consider one of the most obvious questions of all. I guess even animals wonder about the same. But is plugged in this instance until life is over. This question doesn't quite bother me much at all. Because I don't need to know the answer nor do I want to either. Because nothing is obvious or even real when it comes to the great question why are we here. Tricky. So I start with the basic. Existence is real we cannot argue with that. It's metaphysically impossible to say it's not. I also mean to say that it is not is the same as saying there is a man in the sky who judge you no matter what you do so you basically going to en up in hell after life. It's stupid as hell. But that describes how stupid some people can be. And it's not few of em. So the human genome is not perfectly developed since people think like that. But the higher IQ the nore clear it is to understand. And it's fairly easy when you are reasonable and logical to see we do exsit and so does the universe. But the question is to be explained like this. Did something come from nothing or did something come from something. What's behind everything then. Where did it start. And is it eternal. This is called singularity. And did singularity come from something or nothing. I guess something but nothing. And this is hard. If something and or nothing is the origin of space and time we cannot tell. But I believe in force. And force of energy or just plain force is an eternal matter we have not yet been able to see and observe but we know it's there. Force is almost a living organism that everything we see is made of. So what came first then. Well there must have been force itself. And as far as I go here there is no reason to think it is some magic because it's not. Everything is just laws of physics and the force is an eternal matter and it made everything by itself because laws of physic made it evolve into space matter and time. Deeper than that I cannot tell.

It's beyond our comprehension and something we may never really wrap our mind around in the way we can learn and understand and wrap our minds around why galaxies exist, by learning how they form and what rules govern them but we may never be able to say the same for the universe.

Things get more complicated (or maybe more comprehensible?) when we consider multiverses and the like. To me the existence of multiverses makes the existence of our universe something comprehendable and easy to explain once its figured out how universes in a multiverse form - this is assuming multiverse theory is even true. And of course then we will ask why does the multiverse exist and thats what the new question will be.

>> No.10643094

The real question is : what does it mean to exist?
There are two types of phenomena : abstract and material.
Abstract phenomena are ideas or the pure form of something. Material phenomena are those that possess concrete existence.
What is pure existence itself though? Everything that is material can have an idea produced by it. There is potentially a pure form behind everything. Therefore, existence too should have a pure form. It should have a design or sheer informational structure.
If existence were to be abstracted, it would be an idea that applies to itself. Imagine if this idea were physically tangible, a combination of both planes, with the abstract aspect giving rise to the material aspect and vice versa. It would form an infinite network or pattern of ideas. The first idea applies to itself, giving form to a new idea, but it also would be given its structure by itself, which produces another new idea. The proliferation of ideas works both ways producing infinite ideas(or bits) of existence in a chain. Then because existence is universal, each bit in the chain would contain all bits and subsequently be within every bit.
Existence could be a material idea of itself.

There is only abstract, there's no such thing as "concrete" existence. There is only an experience of qualia. Nothing in reality is concrete, it's a dream-like thing. Physicality is just a concept we humans invented based on what we perceive to be true.

No, because the properties of our universe from conception are finely tuned in a way that miraculously allows life, and a small change to any of them, had the universe formed any differently, would render that impossible. If there is only one universe that only forms once, we are astronomically lucky.

Essentially math foundations elude to an answer. I can't and no one can say for certain, but tricks like from nothing (empty set) you can now have nothingness (set containing empty set) and such and so forth. You can use this or other foundational mathematical arguments to lay out some sort of inevitability. This inevitably must be able to construct at least the real numbers since our vision has area to it (ruling out computation of enumerable set). From these sets, our existence is simply one interpretation of this inevitable information. I assume a God would be a most likely result of these inevitable facts and that's why we just so happen to have consciousness in a universe where things kind of make sense. You must admit that most incarnations of consciousness would just receive static as their sensory input if it's just interpretations of inevitable facts.

There are so many options. I don't why I feel so fatalistic about it all at times. On the other hand, the hope for survival is a kind of faith (that we will survive in the end). And as Kierkegaard said, inherent in ANY faith is doubt. There is no escaping ceaselessly nagging doubt if you are to elect to believe in anything. That is just the nature of faith.
