Does anyone on here have tips for scoring high on SAT math? Anyone scored above ~750?

1) do practice tests
2) find problems you missed
3) figure out why (lack of knowledge, brain fart, etc)
Do 3-4 practice tests a week and you'll be good in no time.

t. 36 on ACT and 1600 on SAT

it's an iq test, if you cant get >1500 without studying youll never make it. trivial for non brainlets

It’s early high school math, if you can’t get a high 700 without studying, like >>10627845 said, it’s over for you boyo

Now get the [math]\mathcal{FUCK}[/math] off my board high schooler

>> No.10627956

got 800s on math and Math Level 2 subject test. didn't really study, just taking precalc and AP physics B in my junior year was enough prep

>> No.10628082

the problem types are basically the same consistently. if you can't figure it out from practicing them you ain't never gonna. First, make sure you know the subject matter cold. Then, practice doing it under time pressure

>aced all the hard precalculus stuff (hard trig equations, conics, polar notation, etc...)

How hard is the subject test?

I can give some perspective on the Math Subject Test. I took SAT Math and Subject Test both without ever even looking at them, but note that I had a solid background in math so I was confident. I got 780 on SAT Math and 800 on the Subject Test. I think it's easier to score a perfect score on the Subject Test, but I think more topics are covered on that one. Know your pre-calc, your trig, and a little bit of geometry, and you should be solid. SAT Math doesn't allow mistakes, but the questions are super easy, so as long as you don't slip, you should be good.
