Doesn’t matter, so why ask?

Grug in possesion of rock and rock that mean rock and rock = rockrock, too confusing for tribe, invent stick language for rock quantity 1+1=2 rock, tribe happy.

It's the application of human derived logic on natural systems.

Is a car invented or discovered?
Is a computer invented or discovered?
It's ultimately the same question because the single parts from which we assemble cars and computers have also already existed before.

Those things are invented, there's nothing inherent about them. Whereas natural laws described by mathematics are inherent.

It's invented. Not a complicated process. You don't discover conjunctive logic form, it is abstracted from the need to make sense of a measurement or observation of energy/feedback that can be shared with others.

Both

"Is a model of the universe discovered or invented?"

The invention of the model is derived from the discovery of the universe. The invention of mathematics -- logic, notation, rigor -- are derived from intrinsic properties of the universe.

>natural laws described by mathematics are inherent.
What does this have to do with mathematics?
