are you interested in history of science?

why?

Sure,
For how people came up with conclusions

I took a history of math class as an elective and it was actually very enjoyable. I guess it's just nice to see how everything develops and falls in place on the timeline

I'm extremely interested in the history of math in particular, the context of the people working, the discarded theories and why certain things are emphasized over others

History is always important.

yes, as a professional physicist i think my studies of the history of science have really put my ideas into a grander perspective. plus i can shut down “electric universe” idiots and “muh big bounce” newbs easily on /sci/ since these topics were real ideas in physics decades ago but are so debunked now that physics programs don’t even cover them.

i recommend that every physicist should read some history of science; my favorites so far are the works of Helge Kragh, particularly “Quantum Generations” and “Higher Speculations”. and PS, Kragh is a PhD in physics, not history

No, because it's too white. All historical science is propaganda produced to assert white supremacy, and therefore we must forsake that history as the oppressive garbage that it is. It's necessary to stamp out white supremacy so that we can live in a more equal and just world.
