Not really. Since she none of the Black Hole nonsense has falsifiable claims, it isn't actually science as much as it is a guess of what they're looking at.
They can't be sure because they don't have any possible means of testing anything.
This is true for all of cosmology.
It's less of a science and more of a picture and data-based religion that doesn't understand how falsification works.
Name me one test that proves anything in cosmology.
There isn't one.
They only focus on consistency and correlations, never testing materials themselves.

honest scientists would just look at histograms and say “oh shit this fit to the fourier components of our data indicates something with a circular dark spot and an asymmetric ring around it” and be done. but because Harvard got involved, the absolute meme group who loves to extrapolate to conclusions like “oumuamua was an alien probe” or “the dinosaurs went extinct because of dark matter”, the image became a top priority, since they love cheesy sales pitches for funding agencies and selling retard-tier popsci books

How did the models enter the measurement? I agree, if you put your simulation in your measurement in a way that biases the outcome, that result would be unreliable and that approach would not be very scientific. That's why I can't imagine it's what they did. But I'm happy to learn.
