It's easy to make most professionals look cool in their craft, but for mathematicians and theoretical physicists, it's really difficult. A photo of someone proving the Riemann hypothesis isn't gonna be much dfferent than photo of your average CS student studying for their calculus exam. That's why they came up with the glass writting gimmick.

Yes most are forced to do it by their parents imagine if you were forced to read math text books all day instead of videogames. By the time you finish primary school you'd be at a university level. But have you really learned alot? Most these kids are forced to study ALL DAY MOST DAYS. By the time they are in highschool they haev studied 8+ years religiously. For as hard as they are pushed that isn't impressive. Btw most child prodigys fizzle out as they realize they hate whatever their parents forced them to do.
