androids, advanced cryonics and cure for cancer

next!

>> No.10559587

For all I know you could die in a car accident and not live to see tomorrow.

>> No.10559597

Why would you think you will see a dyson sphere?
>advanced cryonics
nvm

Human beings will probably be obsolete before we find a cure for cancer.

As long as we invent biological immortality first, the answer to all is yes.

Cancer can be ''cured'' by uploading minds now can't it? so if that is a ''yes'', cancer cure is an automatic ''yes''. Biological tissue is weak, sure, nerves are better than any cable we use regulary so far, but metal won't get cancer.

>Dyson sphere
Only on theory, impossible in reality because of lack of resources to build one (our solar system is not enough and our neighboring stars are too far away).

>Matrioshka Brain
Not happening since it depends on Dyson spheres.

>Androids
We're already a cyborg. - Elon Musk

>Uploading mind into a robot body
Nope. But converting our analog brain to digital for the sake of storage will likely happen.

>advanced cryonics
Yes. We already have the technology.

>cure for cancer
Yes. We already have the technology.

>Colonies on the Moon and Mars
Putting human lives outside the Earth is a dumb idea (at least for now). The only reason NASA do this is to impress normies and get the funding.
The most optimal scenario is to put remote-controlled robots using telepresence and do the hard and dangerous work.
