I fucking hate engineers. I hate how they think they're king shit when it comes to science and math. Engineers have never come up with any breakthroughs in science or math. They understand it to a point where they can apply it in the world, but they're basically just people who are smart enough to be trained by the scientists and mathematicians to do their bidding. They're the working class of science and math. The people who are actually smart are too busy discovering and deriving important shit to be bothered to care about making a fucking bridge.

Perhaps it might not have occurred to you yet but "applying the knowledge" isn't as straight forward as seem to think.

Then again scientists and mathematicians don't do anything more than apply their knowledge to a certain field to derive know knowledge from it.

Engineers and scientists are fairly similar. One applies knowledge to gain more knowledge while the other applies knowledge to advance in technology and both of them use both knowledge and technology.
