So I took the mensa IQ test a couple times and I usually got 105-110. Would I be waisting my time trying to get a computer science degree and becoming a software engineer? Or if I just bust my ass day in and day out does IQ not matter? I’m 20 and I’ve been out of school two years working and living at home while I try to figure out what I want to be. My dream jobs would be working at Roblox. Not sure what kind of engineer I’d want to be though.

The fact that you bothered posting this thread instead of googling software dev job requirements on monster or indeed, not looking up quora and yahoo answers comments on if you even need a degree or just certs, nor even realize that stupid IQ tests dont mean shit means yes, you would be wasting your time. Job market is saturated anyway; you are definitely not needed.
