what's math made of? does it exist?

>> No.10516399

It exists, just as much as citizenship exists. Sure, you can't touch them, but that information can change how your life plays out. You have some additional 'rights', which also bends other people's deeds. It's made out of logical assumptions about our world, translated to signs

So it's not physical, but has an impact on real life

Math doesn't exist per say, it's a conceptual representation of something which does or may have roots in the physical realm.
Physical objects, matter, as well as other things represented by math, for example do exist.

We can hypothesize about one million donuts fitting in a room but that doesn't mean it happened anywhere outside our mind unless we perform an experiment.

Of course math exists, thing is that it is a non-physical thing, rather a theoretical thing.
Just like giving a name to a taste, or something of that nature. Said name does not exist physically but it is still a thing.

Can a higher realm be truly "separate" from our realm? Is it not one and the same realm? It's just that it hides in all things, so it appears "separate" or "other" but is actually "same"? How can there be more than one thing? Either there is something or there is nothing, and we know there can't be nothing, so there can only be one thing or realm or reality or totality of all that exists.

Math is just a bunch if made up nonsense . Us engineers have to take what the math nerds made up and turn it into something physical.

>> No.10519906

It's not made of anything. It can't be defined in terms of other things. This is why (and because of - all mathematical truths are causally symmetric) it is the possibility space of structures/pure structure. Everything that exists has a structure, but not everything that has a structure exists.

It can't be said to exist in the same way that things that physically are exist. It isn't even true in the same way that physical laws are true. Maths is true in any universe. We need a new word to describe what maths does rather than exist.

One could say that maths are abstract concepts, and concepts aren't anything physical. In the same way we could say that cardinality is extension of concepts, that is, the amount of arguments that fall under a concept, but we do not say that the concept is anything physical, but only exists as a concept

All material is information but not all information is material. However the material universe is composed whether it be string theory, something even smaller than quarks/leptons, or if it's actually made of the jizzum dripping out of some thot an extra-dimensional lacrosse player just met on tinder, it will all be information at a fundamental level.

so as far as i can tell, brain structure act as representations of concepts, so math is made of the specific brain circuits that reproduce the specific results. think of it like how triangles represent three sided shapes. brains of mathematicians represent the reinmann hypothesis somewhere within its makeup.

this can be taken further and can be said to be some kind of mapping process, so the brain is not the actual, but is the computer which downloads the actual. the brain circuit is like the torrent address for the photo-electro processes to stream the concept to the motor system which prints it out on the chalkboard. this then means there is a necessary field truths which we interact with and extract from. this makes sense when you consider how often maths turns up in the natural world.

hope this isnt total brainlet posting.

>> No.10521201

so yeah in summary math is made of the emergent electronic and photonic interactions which occur in the brain.

think if it like a tv: most of it is static electricity doing nothing special, but if its signal is crafted in the correct way then it can become an image.

so brains are the universes most advanced way of interacting with the conceptual part of the "metaverse".
