Thinking that the human brain is magically immune to evolution and natural selection is even more of a load of bullshit.

evolutionary psychology makes a ton of sense. i mean, it's not a super rigorously testable thing, but it just makes a lot of sense to posit that human thoughts and behaviors have evolutionary reasons. like, why does poop smell bad but steak on the grill smells good? why is night time considered more scary than daytime? why do boys like playing with trucks and soldiers but girls like baby dolls and barbies? definitely at least part of the reasons for these things comes from an innate thing that we evolved

Pic related is dumb/wrong because it implies all altruism comes at a negative cost for the person rather than a positive cost. Countless examples of people being celebrated and rewarded for altruism.

>please explain how and why natural selection and evolution affect all aspects of life on Earth, yet magically have nothing to do with human intelligence, aptitude, or temperament.
nobody claims that. but evolutionarily/genetically, race is a poorly defined concept, that's why race can be denied. please stop posting this bait meme

Postmodern anti-science freaks shit the bed when confronted with evolutionary psychology.

>Why is being heteronormative better? The academic study
>Why is being physically and mentally healthy? The academic study
>Why is group-in preference better? The academic study

And on and on it goes, upsetting the new freaks on the block.
