Give one case where [math]\mathbf{F} = \frac{\mathrm{d}\mathbf{p}}{\mathrm{d}t}[/math] doesn't apply. You can't.

If you're so confident Mr. Smug Anime Girl Poster, why even converse with brainlets? Are you seeking validation of your knowledge by interacting with "brainlets"? Therefore can you call yourself not a brainlet if all your information is validated through the same people you believe to be beneath you?

My conclusion, you read a book, you learned something contradictory, and you are seeking an explanation that you yourself can not give.

Thus you are the brainlet, sir.

P = mv = m*d/t
dP/dt = -m*d/t^2

ma = m*dv/dt
v = d/t
dv/dt = -d/t^2
ma = -m*d/t^2

What is your point? You can also formulate by differentiating with respect to position instead of time.
