I know this isnt really science and I apologize, but if the atoms that make you up disperse into the universe after death, the universe dies and goes through a big bang, could you be reborn if your same atoms end up in a brain in this new universe?

question spans into metaphysics. We do not understand the mechanics of time in a post-universe, but it could happen. or not who fucking cares

If you live as a pious, virtuous and disciplined man, the atoms of your body remember your form, and when the big crunch happens your atoms reassemble to form your soul, resulting in a euphoric resurrection in a pure energy dimension.

If you live chaotically, without purpose or fueled only by base desires, your atoms won't reform due to the weakness of your character.

Okay so removing the idea of the universe dying and coming back (because it has nothing to do with your question)

If it so happens that all of the atoms in your brain manage to reconvene in the exact same formation in another body, what makes you think you will be reborn. It won't have the same memories. Will be a completely different person.
