Fuck off! This book was the best thing for me when I was an undergraduate, and I still look back on it to relearn the basics.

This book is excellent. The calc version is also good up to integral calc.

Yeah. Can you believe that analysis for compsci doesn't cover topology, functional analysis, chaos theory, and differential geometry at a bare minimum? Absolute shit.

Pugh, Rudin, Abbott. You need nothing else other than a solid differential geometry text like O'neill (one with forms, frames and general Stokes, save the pure diff geo for grad school and buy Lee for it). Get Grinfeld for tensor analysis and Lang for Complex, Strang for Linear Algebra/ODE, Devore's Mathematical Stats, Intro to Statistical Learning by James, Statistical Rethinking for Bayesian models, Regression Modeling Strategies for multilinear, PDE just get Logan or some Dover book since they all kinda suck at undergrad level. Go into a closet for two years and stay in there like Freddy Mercury, coming out only when you're ready to do it with a bang.

Oh, and don't buy a Modern Algebra text that doesn't take you all the way to at least an intro to Galois Theory. The rest are worthless. You may as well replace your shitty Thomas or Stuart Calculus with a good one like Spivak for Calc 1 and 2 and Hubbard for Calc 3 or at least the Apostol set (Pajeet version to save $$).
