If you agree that everything is a function of time or the state of the infintley close past, and you agree functions are defined to be the set of all on a cartesian plane such that f(x,y,z...) is a function of x,y,z... then there can only be one answer. Thereby there can only be one universe.

This may be a pseudoproof but I can't be bothered to rigoursly define something painfully obvious.
