Actual CS major here thinking of taking a CS class in cyber security.
Is it actually worth it?
The uni's near my area that do offer a security major are more IT related so I feel as if the field of security is always IT.
The class description is also quite vague with it basically talking about malware protection, how to protect information systems from security breaches, encryption, and password protection and so on and so forth.
I really can't tell if its more IT related or actual CS related.
Well anyway to any CS fag is a security class actually worth taking?
