Wondering why humans are the size and mass, that they are in general. A little kid can do virtually anything a grown adult can do and thats without puberty and the muscles that develop as such. Or little people?

Wouldn't it be evolutionarily better if humans were relatively compact and smaller? Less resources needed but mostly as capable?

Like we could all be lile economy-model humans but humans keep getting fatter and taller on average instead. It seems an evolutionary disadvantage.

Even tho we live in a period of peace, we're still animals with a long history of violence and evolutionary speaking the human form has "learned" that it must get bigger, stronger, and tougher to win battles. It's that same part of the human form that's "learned" men need bigger dicks so they can rape women more successfully.

If gene editing ever become common place, we'll stop evolving based on what the human form has "learned" and will do what we think is best, for better or worse. It could be bad, as the human form has had millennia to make "decisions" on which direction to evolve towards. Gene editing tends not to benefit from the advantage of time, unless you borrow adaptations from other animals, like they do when designing robots. But that could end up with a world full of furies, which is a whole another problem.

the human form definitely doesn't evolve towards being bigger and stronger. We're fairly weak compared to many large animals, our teeth aren't very powerful or practical for fighting and our hands aren't meant to be used for fighting. Ever wonder why boxers wrap their hands and wear gloves? Its not to cushion their punches; Its because a punch even at half your strength can break your hand. Our hands are fairly easy to break with many tiny sensitive parts and they don't heal efficiently, they're clearly not meant to be used for bashing.

What humans do have that sets them apart is a self conscious brain capable of using imagination and extremely dexterous hands with thumbs for very fine work.

Our biology shows we're meant to be collaborative, compassionate and able to create. Pre-historic humans were hunter gatherers that relied on group cohesion, and had a fairly egalitarian style. Having someone try to dominate or impose violence badly hurts group cohesion. Group cohesion and the need to be understood and work with others is how we developed language from nothing. It's also why you fucking faggot incels feel inherently sad when your alone.

I'm not saying being tall, powerful, and having a giant wang are the best things in the world. I'm only saying historically, it was the norm to rape someone, or beat your subordinates into submission. Even just 1000-2000 years ago this was the norm. The world we live in now is VERY different from the world we adapted to via evolution. The parts of us that are prone to violence and rape are still there in most people buried deep under layers of comfort and complacency. I've always wondered where humans are on the ranking of animals by size. When compared to megafauna we are pretty smol but it seems like there are far more animals that are smaller than us compared to how many are larger.
