Was listening to music on spotify when an ad for ASU came on. It said ASU > MIT in innovation.

How does it feel knowing chads at a party school are smarter than a bunch of virgins at MIT?

No as I said before I am a recent graduate.

No comment because I am in the physics department. The school is public meaning paid for by the government which is ASU's greatest trait imo. We rank pretty high up in terms of funding which is unusual for a public school. This means more time to spend with faculties, paid research internships during undergrad,

Its cost is that people in positions of power in the state of Arizona vote on your education curriculum. This means more SJW shit, essays and privilege checking. And before you apply for a research grant you better lube yourself because you answer to the State of Arizona's needs. This means more whimsical nonsense or even an outright denial of your proposal. Yeah don't come here for research.

ASU's funding also leads to mutual partnerships. They include the Mayo clinic (world's #1 hospital), Microsoft and Google. In spite of all this, *innovation* if you will, ASU doesn't rank high at all for science programs, Nobel laureates, publishing, faculty not quite Harvard-tier, etc.

In short, ASU has its flaws and drawbacks which are advantageous if you come from humble beginnings. It is very affordable if you are from the US, and if you are international, worth the investment. No one is going to look down upon you if you come from ASU except the bluest of blue-bloods.
