Why do math majors hate engineers? Math is literally useless if there are no applications to what you study. Everything you use is because of engineers.

>math is only useful if it yields applications in engineering
The logical conclusion of this sort of reasoning is that all things that don't yield applications to engineering are useless. If you care so much about engineering, why don't you stop listening to music, you faggot?

No it isn't. X is useful to Y if it effectively aids Y in achieving Z. A hammer is useful to a construction worker because it allows him to build a house. It is useless to a toddler, however, because no activity a toddler engages in requires the use of a hammer.
And so things which satisfy are useful in achieving satisfaction; in this way, mathematics is useful in the same way music is. If you disagree, withhold from all pleasurable activities and dedicate your time solely to building new things, faggot.

god, talking to old engineers is like dragging nails on a chalkboard. they're all so egotistic and have an amazing lack of self awareness.

Are you aware that things are more useful the more people find use for them? The study of pure math is many orders of magnitude less useful than music because vastly fewer than 1% of the people who are satisfied by music are also satisfied by math.
Why am I even doing this? You've already displayed such autism that arguing with you will be useless.

Lmao nope, not even close.
You have the lowest IQ's, least impressive degrees, and least understanding of the world and it's processes.
STEM isn't about money. If you actually cared about money you'd have studied business with the suave kids and networked and made a lot of money. But you couldn't, because you're an autistic spergy virgin, and you weren't smart enough to study pure math or physics or any of the other fundamental sciences. So you studied little baby engineering, which isn't difficult, in order to cling to some concept of being "smart" and to "make money" which is the only thing you can use to attempt to assert dominance over your intellectual superiors.
Know your place. You're beneath mathematicians and physicists in intelligence, and beneath businessmen in earnings and corporate power. Go lick his boots for your 65k a year cubicle job, peasant lmao.

Why do robots hate normies? We all know math is an extremely poor choice when it comes to supply vs. demand, a fact only worsened by how much dedication and effort it usually takes to become good at it. It seems to be a thing with the average human personality to blame your failures on others, become jealous, and then bitch and moan about those others as opposed to actually doing something about yourself instead (or at least learning to live with the consequences of your own damn choices, or the cards you were dealt with).

I've been born and raised in an extremely jealous country, so that behavior is all too familiar for me. But because we all know how many bitter losers plague these boards, I know all of what I'm saying here is useless. About half of you will completely miss the point and go "REE NORMIE GTFO". While the other half already knew what I was talking about, and didn't need me to point it out.

Let's move on then.
