Why did primate faces and bodies become (mostly) hairless? Why do humans have hair different from other mammals?

Two pros, two cons.
Pro: sweating helps us cool down.
Pro: more streamlined for swimming.
Con: colder in the winter.
Con: more likely to get cuts and scratches from twigs and stuff.
Clearly, the pros outweighed the cons.

Pretty sure ticks & fleas etc. helped it along, and then sexual selection did the rest.

Evolution is not science. Evolution is just a belief system just like any other religion.
Evolution was made up so people could ignore moral responsibilities and reject the possible consequences of one's own actions.

Yes postmodernists tend to believe in evolution sadly. Hence their lack of moral code

Exactly. They don't believe in science. So they don't believe in evolution. Evolution is not science, it's a religion.

As far as we can tell, it's an adaptation for diurnal exhaustion hunting. Hairlessness coupled with supercharged sweat glands means we shed heat very effectively, allowing us to remain active even during the hottest part of the day in warm climates.
most large prey can outrun us in the short term, but they overheat and tire very quickly in comparison. simply by following, say, an antelope (even just quickly walking after it) and preventing it from resting, a fit human on a hot day can run it to exhaustion to the point where it will just collapse.

Think about how bad we smell without regular, and thorough scrubbing down, with chemicals designed to sanitize and deodorize. Compared to any other animal (even skunks, unless they spray) we reek to high fucking heaven. It has to be an evolved defense mechanism.
