Algebra isn't supposed to be hard. If you cant do it well on it's own, you'll never get through other finals or in a lab setting or on the job when you use it in context.

Nobody will have faith in you if it takes you 2 minutes to do something an average compsci or ee fag can do in 30 seconds, or in 10 as a math or physics guy.
