Can anyone confirm if a free electron passing through a PN junction generates a magnetic field. If so, how strong would it be?

>if a free electron passing through a PN junction generates a magnetic field.
movement of a charge, yes, a current creates a magnetic field
>If so, how strong would it be?
whats the charge and the current?

Better yet, if a hole is passing through the PN junction, does it generate a magnetic field?

Basic Question: Are the numbers on the atoms oxidation numbers? If not, what are they called?
>>10304847
Not sure about this but, if a hole moves, does that not meant that the surrounding charged particles are moving? Therefore yes there is a magnetic field? If a hole does not move, or change in size, the surrounding particles do not move.

A hole isn't anything so it doesn't move. It's still electrons moving.

It is a positive charge and it moves.

Yes, of course. The magnetic field is actually created by electrons moving to fill the hole, but the result is the same as if it was a positive charge in motion.

Yes because magnetic field is not really a thing but relativistic effects on electric charges.

It looks like it's the number of valence electrons

Also read this chapter 11 a book called “Mein Kampf” which says that "Russians are a great people" in the text below :

It is a thing, there's just 2 cases.
>1: relativistic effect of moving electric field
>2. Fundamental magnetic dipole of atomic particles

The hole is not a positive charge it is literally nothing, it acts as a positive charge carrier.
