Alright /sci/, got a son on the way.

Redpill me on what I should do during pregnancy and early years to maximise IQ for my lil fella. Should I be getting my wife do high level maths, to transfer the IQ to the baby?

You're going to have to do the most difficult thing ever, being a good father.

This involves literally spending hours per day teaching him. Ever notice how babies who don't have enough attention are retarded in their development?

So at first it's gonna be slow, putting shapes in the hole and stuff, then learning to read but your attention here will be very very important. Spending even 1 hour per day learning to play with educational baby toys could add up to a lot.

This has to be continued for many years and you'll have to privately tutor him/her once in grade school. Yes that involves learning algebra 1 on khanacademy, and such.

You're also going to have to show him what his body is made of to promote physical health and strength. My dad took me on a 50 mile bike ride and it was inspirational, stuff like that really shows you what you can do.

My dad also promoted sports from k-12 which is really good too.

There was this Mexican kid who was the best on the soccer team because his dad spent 3-4 hours per day training him in soccer... Probably train him in different ways but he can literally be better than every kid if you do.

Imagine a well funded super kid who was trained in math, science, literature, martial arts, etc.. Totally possible with good genetics but noooo one cares enough as parents.

Also I don't know if you ever got big into botany or anything but nutrition matters a lot. It's not that much more expensive than processed food, it just takes a lot of extra work.

Either he has good genes or he doesn’t. You don’t make a difference. Just don’t ass rape him.

Here's a tip I have for you dadanon, raise your child in a way so that he will respect you, but still be open to discussing anything in his life to you. Be a father first, and a friend second. It's what I wish my dad would've developed for us. He loves me and I know it, but he saw his mission as a father as that of being the full time working man putting food on the table. He was right that this was part of his responsibility, but he completely missed out on the emotional aspect in my major formative years. Also, don't fight infront of your kid. Good future to you, dadanon.

Hug your son, teach him logical thinking and deductive reasoning.

He will BTFO illogical thinkers.

how does it feel to have pathetic parents lmao
>tfw got Asian tier Eastern European parents
>started piano at age 6
>anything less than A is unsatisfactory and anything below B is "disappointing"
>send me to chess to make a complete meme out of me, pretty decent at it
>help me start my first startup at age 17 because I'm autistic enough to already know about software development since i started programming at 14
>leave it to pursue a degree at a privately funded prestige major in my city
feels good anons, but there is one major disadvantage: you have no social life beyond going to a club with your friends like once a half year and you're too autistic to get a gf.

Teach him practical skills, from shop-type work to entry level science experiments (to question and verify the "truth"). Being book smart is great through college, but afterwards becomes worth little. Whatever wild dreams a genius may think of, you need to ensure he has the means to make them reality. All of the great physicists of the late 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries built their own apparatuses, and I can guarantee you that "sophisticated machinery" is only good for so much.
Half the shit we used in academia came from the hardware store.
