This happily coincides with my interest of today: human evolution, so I’ll share some thoughts I had while reading studies on it. Given our current situation where we essentially evolve ourselves through technology (instead of evolving gills, we make scuba equipment, instead of claws we use weaponry, etc) I doubt we will see much positive physical change, in first world nations peoples bones will likely weaken as will muscles overall and we will adapt to high glucose levels among other things located in shitty food. The most interesting changes will probably be to our brain, given our language part of the brain is just an adapted primitive communication chunk, I’m guessing we will eventually evolve a far more complex and dedicated cortex made for language. I’m guessing overall people will get better at general high knowledge jobs as we will need fewer and fewer manual workers. Just some thoughts, keep in mind I’m not an expert in this, just a dude who likes learning.
