He resists defining his terms as much as he can, and has a tendency to use eloquent variants of "stfu brainlet" in rebuttal. What I read of CTMU appeared mostly word salad. Last time I tried to investigate his IQ claims the sources were circular tabloid references. Not sure if anything new has come to light.

He's clearly quite bright, but all of this screams crank. If you listen to how he talks about his father, you see how he might have become the way he is. I can't decide if he's a con man, or just really emotionally damaged.

A doctor examined this.

He placed people with terminal illnesses on beds with integrated weighting scales. The differences between their weight when alive and dead were measured and the results collected and examined to see if any soul had left the body. The resulting doctor found..

"soul"(anima) is sort of a nomen oblitum. And obviously is controversial nomenclature. I believe that Biology hasn't moved past the concept of soul. We just call it Life now, and take it for granted. >Scientifically, do souls exist?
I hate this distinction.
There is no distinction between something existing scientifically and something existing at all. It is a tautology.
Currently the existence of souls is just a theory, with no significant data to prove or disprove it.
Anything someone says is just theoretical.
But yes they do I am sure, it just hasn't been proven yet.
Why? Because everything in our universe can be explained through logic. Souls is the only way to explain some things, that otherwise would be inexplicable.
But it would take a significantly advanced civilization or being to explain - prove - understand souls, perhaps a being that is close to divinity itself.
Will humanity ever do it? I don't know. You have to understand in a cosmic scale humans are pretty close to animals. You have potential, but I don't know if you will be enough to allow you to escape your animalistic nature.

No, souls are by definition supernatural. They’re “magic”.

Everything universally agreed upon as “alive” meets those qualities, so if you have a problem with them, please provide a more rigorous definition of “life”. I seem to have upset the pseudo.

>> No.10268777

No, the existence of souls is conjecture. If it was THEORY, there’d be data supporting the idea that souls exist.

>Why? Because everything in our universe can be explained through logic. Souls is the only way to explain some things, that otherwise would be inexplicable.
