What are some interesting new fields in engineering?

Recent college grad working for a defense contractor and I feel pretty unfulfilled at my current job. Don't feel like the work I'm doing will make any difference in the world.

You're a graduate yet still delude yourself into believing that you're smart enough to make a difference? Should have stayed in school for a couple more decades.

this is why you should've studied physics retard. engineering might be interesting in school but 90% of engineering jobs are a lot less interesting than actually studying engineering in school

My fulfilment of helping come from helping the every day to day man.

Talking to foster kids, helping someone on the side of the road, opening the door.

We're not all meant to be smart asses, you probably won't be one either. You can still help people who'd appriciate it, you just won't be anyone special to the masses.
