Look at the way science has changed since the Copenhagen project. Scientists then were well versed in poetry, philosophy and the arts, from the religious foundations and links to antiquity, science has become completely professionalised and corporatised, something that could never happen to philosophy or theology. Western art, which is the only living tradition of art (all cultural art traditions are dead, including Western subdivisions), is more of a science than anything. Practiced the world over. The progenitors of it in the Renaissance and prior, were largely mathematicians, natural philosophers, engineers, architects, and so on. It is systematic and inspired/derived from Nature.
