In 2030, zoomers are going to be science teachers. That should put the fear of God into all of you.

We are at a point where people don't believe in scientists anymore. They believe they know better. They trust Breitbart and that one psychologist but they don't trust people who are actually experts in the field.

Cannot possibly fuck it up more than it already is. Although to be fair, these are all American problems for the most part. Thankfully the rest of the world is mostly sane.

Well all the bullshit math-based theories based on no actual observations, pop science cancer and the repeatability crisis aren't fucking helping.

I don't think we'll need science teachers by 2030. Science has already advanced to the point where bachelor and master university degrees aren't even enough to understand basic concepts in science.
You don't even get competent enough for work by spending 10 years at university.
The state of this world...

Science is hard. There is no way we could just make it digestible enough for the average 100 IQ person to understand. Especially not if they don't go though the typical 9 years of tertiary education + research that we go through.
Ultimately you cannot pretend like you can just understand everything on your own. You have to trust in others. This is how everything works in society.

I don't trust humans. They're evil and stupid. They lie incessantly. Humans are unworthy of trust. Even from other humans. That is why nobody trusts "experts" anymore. The world is decaying and the Steven Pinkers of the world keep telling everyone everything is eternally getting better.

False, by 2030 science classes will be fully decolonized. It's vitally important that SocJus driven DeCol classes remain. Not just to explain how the witch doctor can send a lightning, but also to prevent the return of pernicious whiteness.

Why should they? Between science being corrupt to support their funders and politics getting in the way where is the innovation? I mean cancer funding is the prime example. Its more cost beneficial to treat than cure and to pocket money

Yeah the large hardon really helped science. Name another country doing anything innovative with science? They wont because the eu is shit with ip
