What are the chances of a genius engineering-related discovery in the next 10 years?

I've very recently found that P != NP.

An infinite number of tape head TMs is at least as fast at finding a solution as a non-deterministic turing machine plus some linear asymptotic adding factor, t, which is taken into account during the "accumulation" of results phase of the computation. The infinite machine would be able to perform each step of the tree of possibilities for the NDTM simultaneously on a different tape, even into the asymptote, and thus unlimited by tree size. If simultaneously able to halt all tapes at the same time, this machine is equivalent in runtime speed to a traditionally non-deterministic turing machine.

Enforcing this halt state across all the potentially infinite tapes (a reduction of results across the tapes to a single halt), however, would depend on the type of problem being solved. In the case of a simple addition, the results could be logarithmically combined, but in the case of a return of all found values, the results could only be combined in the asymptotic bound of the number of tapes performing the computation, or the growth rate of the state space of an equivalent NDTM. Thus a DTM does not have the same power as a NDTM, as it cannot reduce this state space in polynomial time for all problems.

Engineers are brainlets.

I'd say 0%.

All autists go for math and physics.
