I'm going to take acid in 4 days(not my first time), whats the best way to prime my mind with information so I can have a "mind altering trip"?

I'm thinking about reading selected texts all day every day so I'm forced to make connections between the texts and other ideas in my mind

Does priming only work on the daily scale or should I push the date out a couple weeks so I can prime by reading all day for an extra number of weeks?

Read about geopolitics instead of science, it's more suited to acid.

I'm going to reading from a wide selection of subjects, i'm just wondering if the priming effect works over longer timescales

Just try and have fun you dipshit.

Listen man, I had the same ambition when I took acid the first time.
Do not go in expecting anything. There's an oft-repeated phrase "you don't do acid, acid does you."

I would highly recommend going to a park, somewhere with trees and water, and maybe wildlife. Or the beach. Just let it do its thing, don't try to steer the ship so to say. Also make sure you take enough! No less than 125 mics. I would suggest 200.

I've already done acid, I know how it affects you in that your mind wanders so that you can't fully control your trip.

i'm literally just asking how strong the priming affect is, when you do acid you'll normally think about stuff thats current in your life, so it doesn't just throw away the priming affect hen you do it, there's some influence.

How about you find out and report your results with a trip report on erowid. What kind of answer would you expect us to come up with? A number? It probably will influence your trip. You know from experience that things on your mind bubble to the surface. Everyone reacts different. You will not likely come up with an interesting revelation like the guy who discovered DNA, but you may think about things differently.

just to know if anybody has any knowledge about the priming affect, but I guess i'll do some research on the subject

>guy who discovered DNA
I assume you're talking about Kary Mullis and he discovered PCR, not DNA

Nah 100 is perfect. 200 is where the real shit begins. Not safe territory.

He's talking about Francis Crick. There is an urban legend about him seeing the double helix structure of DNA while under the influence of LSD. Probably some people have confused Crick and Mullis (who directly attributed his discovery of PCR to LSD)

pretty fucked road, OP. Better to eat some mush than an unidentified chemical that's not pharmaceutically pure.

if you have side effects or feel bad at all that's what's happening just so you're aware and can change your behavior.

Oh I never heard anything about Crick and LSD, how interesting. Yeah I just assumed he confused him with Mullis since, like you said, it's well known that LSD helped him discover PCR

I once accidentally dosed myself with 250 and was fine, but I have regular like migraines/seizures that are pretty much the same as an acid trip. Little disappointing in some ways.
