As far as we understand cancer, there will never be a complete cure. Cancers are using fundamental biological mechanisms to do their thing and theres too many ways to break a genome for us to prevent it from happening. The best we will ever be able to do imo is aggressive therapy to attack cancers when/as they develop.

1) Short and most concise answer, it depends on your rate of consumption as well as other dietary habits. A significant portion of dietary nitrates comes from vegetables.

2) If by "fresh" meat you are suggesting you will be eating raw meat, then the cancer risk of any other processed meat product will be comparatively higher. Nevertheless, the risk is already very very low. Again, YOUR individual dietary habits and genetic predisposition play a much larger role. I know its easier to just blame it on foods and food manufacturers, but it's not that simple.

3) Hard to say, I would be wary of anyone saying "studies show a carnivore diet causes cancer," because such studies would 1) be very difficult to conduct as you would need to track your participants over a long period of time, 2) hope you are collecting reliable data from their self-reporting 3) be very expensive and resource intensive.

4) I have never heard of these two being studied, and you will likely not get any true or accurate answers by asking that question here
