Intelligence =/= emotion. I believe AI could be destructive like a virus but don't understand how AI could truly be called intelligent whilst it is apparently knowingly mis behaving.

I guess if we had intelligent humanoid robots and they were advanced enough to have mimicked hormones and a central nervous system I could imagine that going wrong and causing some kind of insane uncontrolled fuck up like switching the command "don't kill all humans" with "kill all humans"... but if a human would be considered criminally insane they wouldn't then be held criminally responsible.

Singularity AI.. would be so strong it could just blow us to shredds in a millisecond. And that's one millisecond to much. So it could be in one second it wants to kill everything. And in another not. Could be like that early stages when it so called grows up to adult. We must consider this possibility. Then other thing is that when you run "sentient" machines all they need is some clues what to do, there is always stuff to do for good machine. Keep that in mind. doStuff() is enough for AI to keep going.

Total haywire AI gonna happen sooner or later. You can't even think of what you have to do right to make it safe moded. So it could be a crazy maniac. We still do not know. Some people think that it's gonna be some sort of Buddha. But we could be wrong. So we don't know until we turn it on.
